The Angelicus String Quartet is made up of four female musicians, teachers and friends. We have been performing together since 2002, though each member had many years of performing experience before joining Angelicus. Our group consists of two violinists, a violist and a cellist. All four members of our quartet teach music in public schools, as well as privately. We are all active members of the New York State and Monroe County School Music Association.

 

We play a variety of pieces, ranging from Baroque and Classical to Broadway and Popular. Performing at weddings and special occasions is so much more than just a job for us. We seek to make you feel at ease as we work together to personalize the music for your event.  From your initial contact, to the private concert where you preview your playlist and finally to your big day (where we love to meet the key players in the ceremony), we hope you feel like a friend as we give you a very special performance.
